The nozzle group usually refers to the first stage nozzle of the steam turbine. The first stage nozzle is divided into several groups, and each group is controlled by a regulating steam valve.

Fixing method of nozzle: the first stage nozzle is different from other stage nozzles, which can directly weld the nozzle group to the nozzle chamber; The flange of the nozzle group can be integrally milled and embedded on the nozzle chamber; It can be cast together with the nozzle chamber; It can be bolted to the nozzle chamber.

The nozzle group can be either milled and welded as a whole or precision cast.

The function of turbine nozzle is to convert the heat energy of steam into kinetic energy, that is, steam expands, depressurizes, increases speed, and ejects in a certain direction to push the moving blades to do work.
